Jean Pierre Escande and his wife, Alberte, are active and accomplished Monegasques. After a number of successful ventures, such as their former restaurant, La Sariette, they decided to open this bistronomic restaurant in 2016.

The goal is to stimulate all your senses—sight and taste—through the venue’s atmosphere, decor, ambiance, and, of course, the cuisine.

The decor, which is both sophisticated and trendy, evokes nature with tree-trunk table legs that contrast with modern, irregularly shaped tabletops. Earthy tones and soft lighting contribute to this chic, Zen-like atmosphere. A private lounge is available for hosting private or professional events.

The heated patio, which welcomes both smokers and nonsmokers, is the perfect place to relax outdoors before, during, or after your meal.

In the kitchen, Chef Dominique Nouvian will delight your taste buds with Mediterranean cuisine and reimagined regional specialties. Everything here is made from scratch, and all ingredients are fresh. In fact, Dominique Nouvian and his sous chef, David Castoldi, shop for their ingredients at the market in La Condamine, buying directly from local producers.

As for the menu, there’s a very attractive lunch special featuring: a main course and a drink for 18 euros, or a main course and appetizer with a drink, or a main course and dessert with a drink for 26 euros. There’s also a 58-euro tasting menu for dinner.

For main courses, treat yourself to the socca with pesto and sautéed porcini mushrooms, the Monegasque-style stockfish, or the lobster linguine—all of which are excellent. For dessert, the Grand Marnier soufflé or the crème brûlée with chestnut confit are absolute delights.
