A New Palace on the Côte d’Azur: Le Château Saint Martin & Spa in Vence

Thursday, October 31, 2019, the members of Atout France, in the presence of Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, awarded the “Palace” distinction to 6 new hotels:

Le Château de Saint Martin & Spa in Vence was delighted to receive this distinction. There are 31 Palaces in France, 9 of them in the PACA region.

The “Palace” label was created in 2010. It is awarded for 5 years and requires meeting the criteria set for luxury hotels.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Have at least 12 months of operating history.
Room sizes must be at least 26 m² for single rooms and 30 m² for double occupancy.
Be classified as a 5-star hotel.
Present exceptional geographical, aesthetic, or historical characteristics.

Château Saint Martin & Spa:

Set in nature on the heights, with a breathtaking view of the Côte d’Azur bay and the sea, this palace is a former 12th-century Templar castle.
