If you miss our culinary specialties, know that in Paris you can savor them with the feeling of “extending your vacation.” Here are my favorite addresses to find a bit of sunshine amid the gray.
Les Niçois, 7 rue Lacharrière, 75011 Paris, Tel: 09 84 16 55 03

Luc, a true Niçois who grew up in Nice, opened this restaurant five years ago (already!) with his friend Olivier. It transports you back home, not only through the food but also through the atmosphere and the warmth of the place.

Here you’ll feel as if you’ve returned to the Cours Saleya: you can choose from pissaladière, socca, pan bagnat, panisses, or the true salade niçoise. What also recalls our region is the atmosphere, with pétanque in the basement and the good mood that fills this place. On weekends, there’s a childcare service to entertain your little ones. A wonderful moment of happiness.
Le Yacht Club, 8 rue Saint Lazare 75009 Paris, Tel: 09 53 57 61 15

This establishment is the second address created by the Niçois in 2017. Here you’ll feel as though you’re embarking on a culinary cruise. Wood, life buoys, a shark head on the wall: you really feel like you’re on a boat.

Among the dishes that evoke the sea, an iodine-rich cuisine with accents of the Côte d’Azur, such as the famous octopus, which is excellent.
Bagnard, 2 locations: 7 rue Saint Augustin, 75002 Paris, Tel: 09 86 17 63 17 and 58 rue de Saintonge 75003 Paris, Tel: 01 55 43 90 47

Founded in 2014 by Yoni Saada, this restaurant with a “street food” concept won over Gault&Millau, which named it a young talent, and its concept was voted project of the year. Stunning decor (Bagnard Saint Augustin was a former Louis XVI locksmith’s workshop; the beams and mosaic floors are original).

On the menu, the true salade niçoise, panisses, and pissaladière offer a glimpse of everything you can enjoy, prepared with finesse by the chef. Excellent fresh fruit juices.
Baieta, 5 rue de Pontoise, 75005 Paris, Tel: 01 42 02 59 19

Baieta (“bisou” in Niçois) will transport you directly to Nice. Wood-paneled, very elegant decor in this restaurant in the heart of Paris. In 2016, the restaurant received a Michelin star, and Julia became the youngest starred female chef in France.

Refined gastronomic cuisine, carefully prepared: stuffed vegetables, aioli, pissaladière, and socca, simply delicious. And of course, the true salade niçoise!
Riviera, Food Court at Galeries Lafayette, 60 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris

The Food Court concept: Located in the basement of the department store, this space is entirely dedicated to food. Take away or dine in at long communal tables to enjoy dishes from different vendors. The result: quality, conviviality, and speed.

On the menu at Riviera: pizza, pissaladière, pan bagnat, and the grocery section with all the products the Niçois take home. The ideal and delicious shopping break.
“This cuisine is a world whose hearth is the sun.” Victor Hugo
