In June, the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2019 voted Le Mirazur in Menton as the best restaurant in the world.
The Leader:
Mauro Colagreco, Italian-Argentinean, has worked with the greatest French chefs such as Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passard and Alain Ducasse, after brilliant hotel studies in Argentina and France.
In 2006, he opened the Mirazur restaurant, and obtained his first star 11 months later, then was elected 3 years later "best chef of the year" by Gault&Millau, and in 2017 "Chevalier de l'Odre National du Mérite".

In May 2019, he obtained his third star in the Michelin Guide and a month later his restaurant was awarded.

His cuisine: amazing and original dishes, with fresh and authentic products, most of which come from his orchard garden. He creates new dishes as he goes along, about 250 dishes a year. Each table has a different menu, and loyal customers never eat the same thing thanks to the restaurant's logbook, which is original and unusual.



In September it is the prickly pear that is in the spotlight.
