Since 1994, this very elegant biennial event, organized by the Monte-Carlo Yacht Club, which aims to bring together all the boats of the past, both small and large yachts, once again shows the Principality's unwavering commitment to the sea and to its maritime heritage.
This year, for the 14th edition, Denis Conner, four times winner of the America's Cup, multiple world champion and Olympic medallist, will make the special trip from the USA to be the President of the Grand Jury.

As for the boats, a newcomer, Atlantic, 64.50 m long, is a perfect replica of the 3-masted schooner that Charlie Barr had built for the 1905 Kaiser's Cup.

We can also admire the SS Delphine (my favorite), whose lines are of a majestic finesse, 78.50 m long, 3 boilers, a pure wonder.

This 14th edition being dedicated to the United States, an "American Village" will be in the spotlight to exhibit the maritime heritage of the country that contributed to the development of yachting in the world.
Good to know:
- The show will be accessible to all! All the events will be visible from the decks of the Yacht Club de Monaco and from all the viewpoints overlooking the sea.
- After the competitions on the water, the competition continues on land with the "La Belle Classe Restauration" prize, a culinary event that highlights the creativity of the crews.
- If you are a vintage or classic yacht owner, do not hesitate to participate online: www.ymc.org/mcw2019
