On Friday, the dark-haired Martin Fuchs once again excelled himself on the tricky and technical course designed by Frank Rothenberger, which was played on a 1.50m jump-off course.
Taking risks until the end, the rider finished at 35″40 and won the Monte-Carlo Casino Trophy.
If Marco Kutscher had not hung a bar on the last oxer, he would have won with 35"25 on the clock. Martin Fuchs explained that this was his first victory with The Sinner, which he has been riding for a short time, and that he was very happy about it.
At 8:45 pm, the famous Longines Pro Am Cup sponsored by Mrs. Charlotte Casiraghi, brought together in teams of amateurs with the biggest names in this field for a course at 1.10m and then at 1.30m.
