The President of the French Republic has chosen the French Riviera to meet with the President of the People’s Republic of China. A luncheon will take place on Sunday, March 24, at the Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. This meal will be a private gathering, with only Emmanuel Macron, the Chinese President, and their respective spouses in attendance. 
Villa Kerylos, one of the jewels of the French Riviera, is a tribute to Greek civilization. Built entirely from scratch by Théodore Reinach, French archaeologist and statesman. 
Villa Kerylos is an original reconstruction of an ancient Greek residence, created in collaboration with architect Emmanuel Pontremoli, who was passionate about the subject.
Later in the day, the officials are also expected to visit the Memorial to the Victims of the July 14 Attack, erected at the 
Villa Masséna, on the Promenade des Anglais.
Emmanuel Macron and his wife are expected to return to Paris in the evening, unlike the Chinese President, who will spend the night in Nice at the Hôtel Negresco.
“La Suite des Anges,” the most beautiful suite at the Hôtel Negresco, an exceptional setting where Xi Jinping is expected to sleep, although it is known that he had his own bed brought in and will sleep in it.
