After celebrating its 40th edition in 2023, the Cannes Jumping kicks off a new decade full of new features.
As the 7th stop on the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour circuit, we’re in for plenty of wonderful surprises this year in Cannes.
The world’s best riders are expected to attend, including champion Marcus Fuchs, Eric Navet, and John Whitaker, to name just a few.
This Thursday, the riders will take to the course starting at 11:15 a.m., with a CSI2 and a CSI5 on the schedule, culminating in Friday night’s GCL and Saturday night’s Longines Global Champions Tour—Grand Prix of the City of Cannes.
This year’s highlights included a new event, “The Iron Dames,” featuring an all-female team.
This event, created by Déborah Mayer, embodies all the values that the city of Cannes upholds.
Once again this year, the Global Champions Arabian Tour will be held in Cannes on June 11 and 12. We’ll have the chance to see the world’s most beautiful Arabian thoroughbreds, ridden by exceptional riders.
The three highlights to watch for are the CSI5 riders’ debut in competition today, the GCL—a team competition in two stages, one at 1.55 meters and the second at 1.60 meters—and, to conclude, the LGT—the Grand Prix of the City of Cannes.
Great Jumping!
