Since 1994, this highly elegant biennial, organized by the Yacht Club de Monte-Carlo, which aims to bring together all classic boats, small and large yachts, once again demonstrates the Principality’s unwavering attachment to the sea and to its maritime heritage.
This year, for the 14th edition, Denis Conner, four-time America’s Cup winner, multiple world champion and Olympic medalist, will specially travel from the USA to serve as President of the Grand Jury.

As for the boats, a new arrival, Atlantic, 64.50 m long, is the perfect replica of the three-masted schooner that Charlie Barr had built for the Kaiser’s Cup of 1905.

Don’t miss the SS Delphine (my favourite), whose majestic lines are of remarkable elegance, 78.50 m long, with 3 boilers: a pure marvel.

As this 14th edition is dedicated to the United States, an “American Village” will be showcased to exhibit the maritime heritage of the country that contributed to the development of yachting around the world.
Good to know:
– The spectacle is open to everyone! All events will be visible from the decks of the Yacht Club de Monaco and from all viewpoints overlooking the sea.
– After the on-water competitions, the competition continues ashore with the “La Belle Classe Restauration” culinary contest, which highlights the creativity of the crews.
– If you are the owner of a vintage or classic yacht, do not hesitate to take part online: www.ymc.org/mcw2019
