Imagine yourself in the heart of nature, just an hour from Nice, surrounded by magnificent vegetation, with a charming little village as a backdrop, swimming in natural water—chlorine-free, salt-free, and jellyfish-free—filtered by plants: paradise! Here’s a description of the natural swimming pool in Roquebillière.

This 1,200-square-meter mountain lake is the only natural body of water in the department, featuring a closed-loop water treatment system that uses biofiltration, eliminating the need for ozone, ultraviolet light, or chlorine.

What is biofiltration? It is a plant-based system consisting of aquatic plants that converts organic matter into mineral salts, which the plants then use as nutrients. As a result, water purification occurs naturally.
